I for some reason could not get an immediate ‘push’ of test emails. My iphone was set to push and manually checking every 15 minutes. I tried first to disable wifi but made a mistake of also check marking the ‘manually’ check as well. Suddenly I was able to send an email and get a response in just under 10 seconds. Not bad I think really since I have been waiting for push email for some time. I do not want to have an application open and paying for sms?

So if you are finding out that messages do not alert you right away with mobile me, then try to set your iphone to push and check manually. Maybe it all was just a glitch, I haven’t even checked.
